Woven by hand in the Western Isles of Scotland
Koolakian & Manro is the exclusive Central New York retailer for Harris Tweed Scotland Limited. Harris Tweed is produced from 100% pure new wool that is woven by hand in the crofters' cottages as it has been since 1846. Our coats bear the "orb and cross" label bearing an individual registration number indicating the weaver that hand loomed the fabric. By an Act of Parliament this label only appears on authentic, hand woven Harris Tweed.

Our own make suits, sport coats and blazers are largely made in the USA and represent superior quality when compared to mass merchant garments often made in third world countries. They drape and alter beautifully. Also available for order with seperately sized coat and slacks for the hard to fit.
